February Crochet Love

I have a lovely flower heart pattern for you. I will preface this by saying that this is not my pattern, but is available online at various locations in another language (Russian, perhaps?) as a symbol chart.

Requirements: 

4mm crochet hook

10g of yarn

darning needle

Abbreviations (US Terminology):            

sl st       slip stitch

tr          triple crochet

dc          double crochet

ch          chain

sc          single crochet

rep         repeat

st(s)       stitch(es)

sp(s)       space(s)

beg         beginning

sk          skip

yo          yarn over

Special Stitches:

2 dc cl:    (yo, insert hook into indicated st/sp, yo and draw a loop through to the front of work, yo, draw through 2 loops) 2 times, yo, draw through all loops on hook.

3 dc cl:    (yo, insert hook into indicated st/sp, yo and draw a loop through to the front of work, yo, draw through 2 loops) 3 times, yo, draw through all loops on hook.

Picot:      ch the required number of sts (5 ch, for example), sl st in first ch st (ch sts make a loop).
